Increased police presence in Huron-Kinloss Township

(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - Members of the South Bruce OPP continue to search for a man involved in an incident in the Township of Huron-Kinloss.

Tuesday, June 16, at 2:47 a.m., police responded to the report of a man in distress at a residence on Amberley Beach Road. The OPP is concerned for the safety of this individual.

Officers have established containment with the assistance of the OPP Aviation Unit, Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team. Residents will notice an increased police presence in the area.

The South Bruce OPP is asking residents and business owners in the area to remain vigilant, and to report any suspicious persons to police immediately.
