(GODERICH, ON) - An investigation, conducted by officers from the Huron-Perth OPP Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), has resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs and offence-related property, and two Huron County residents have been charged.
The investigation led police to an individual residing in the Town of Goderich. OPP officers from the Huron-Perth CSCU, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, West Region OPP Canine Unit, and the Huron OPP detachment assisted with the investigation.
Tuesday, June 9, a traffic stop was conducted in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh (ACW) Township, which resulted in the driver being arrested for a drug-related offence. A second traffic stop was conducted in the Town of Goderich, which resulted in the driver being arrested for drug-related offences.
A search warrant was then executed at an address on Gibbons Street in Goderich, which resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, and offence-related property.
A quantity of suspected Cocaine was seized. The total value of the illegal drugs seized is estimated at $2,240.
Seized offence-related property included an automobile, weigh scales, packaging, a money counter, and cellular phones totalling $8,300.
A quantity of Canadian currency was seized, totalling $5,627.
Sandra FEAGAN, 57, of ACW Township has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich, Aug. 31.
Nicholas HILDEBRAND, 28, of Goderich has been charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine
