The South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary has raised more than $13,000 at the annual Tag Days, held June 25-26.
Despite the rainy Thursday, the auxiliary received amazing support from the community once again!
Stations were set up at Kincardine Home Hardware, Sobeys, Canadian Tire, No Frills, and the LCBO, and the volunteers were kept busy explaining that the auxiliary uses the donations (filling the shiny bed pans!) to purchase equipment for the Kincardine Hospital!
Thanks to Ginny Ross for her hard work organizing what is the auxiliary's largest fund-raiser of the year, and to the members and volunteers who gave of their time to staff the stations. And thank you to everyone who donated to this event.
The auxiliary's goal this year is $30,000 to purchase an Electrocardiogram machine, and a blanket warmer in acute care.
