Kincardine resident killed in single-vehicle collision near Lucknow

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) - A Kincardine resident has died, following a single-vehicle collision in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.

July 19, shortly after 9 a.m., the Huron County OPP, along with Bruce County Emergency Medical Services and the Lucknow Fire Department, responded to the accident on Bruce County Road 86, west of Lucknow.

The driver, a 77-year-old resident of Kincardine, suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bruce County Road 86, between Sideroad 20 South and Kintail Line, west of Lucknow, was closed as members of the Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team assisted the Huron OPP with the investigation.

All resources have now cleared the area and the roadway has been re-opened.
