Local fall fair ambassadors join colleagues across the province at OAAS convention in Toronto

The Kincardine, Ripley, Tiverton and Lucknow Fall Fair ambassadors joined their colleagues from across the province at the annual Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) convention, held on the weekend at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

The local ambassadors include: Kincardine's Hailey Allen, Ripley's Marley Martyn, Tiverton's Danielle McBride, and Lucknow's Jessica Snowden.

At the convention, they had an opportunity to attend seminars and listen to some great speakers, as well as enjoy wonderful entertainment, among other activities. It was also a time of great fun, as they went to workshops geared to their interests, and met ambassadors from fairs throughout Ontario. There were about 90 ambassadors at the event.

This was not a competition but a chance for the ambassadors to meet, make new friends and network. They gather again at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in August when there is a contest to select the CNE Ambassador of the Fairs.
