Ripley man dies at the age of 55
Wayne Douglas McLean of Ripley, died at his residence, Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at the age of 55.
He was born in Kincardine, May 10, 1960, beloved son of the late Donalda (Thompson) and John "Jack" McLean.
Greatly missed by four sisters; Mary-Lynn McLean of Ripley, Debbie (Dennis) Wylds of Kincardine, Brenda McLean (Morley Kirstine) of Kincardine and BettyJean McLean of Lucknow.
Also survived by nieces and nephew, Lisa (Ed) Courtney, Stephanie McLean (Dustin Farrish), Candice Wylds (Aden Finlay) and Brandon Wylds; and great-nieces and -nephew Marlee and Joshua Courtney and Macey Farrish.
Wayne worked for many years at the Parrish and Heimbecker grain elevator at Amberley and was well-liked by the staff there and the local farmers.
Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley, Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral will be held in the chapel, Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at 2 p.m.
Spring interment, Ripley Cemetery.
