Huron Shores Hospice offering grief support sessions this fall

Huron Shores Hospice is providing monthly drop-in support group sessions at Kincardine United Church this fall.

Grief can leave people feeling uncertain and unsure of what comes next. This support group provides a safe, non-judgemental space for those who are navigating loss, to explore these feelings, share their story, and connect with others who understand.

Each session is facilitated by trained professionals and has a suggested theme, but discussions are flexible and guided by the needs and experiences of those who attend. This month, the theme is “Now What?” — focusing on the questions and challenges that arise after a loss: how to adjust to a world without a loved one, how to find your footing, and how to navigate life while carrying grief.

All are invited to join in this monthly support group, or share this information with anyone who might benefit from steady support and connection during this difficult time:

• Saturday, Sept. 12 - 1-3 p.m.

• Saturday, Oct. 17 - 1-3 p.m.

• Saturday, Nov. 14 - 1-3 p.m.
