The Kincardine Terry Fox Run will be held Sunday, Sept. 20, with registration beginning at 8 a.m., and the run at 9 a.m., at the Davidson Centre.
The 46th annual event will feature members of the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band leading the first lap around the track before the participants head out on the five-kilometre and 10-kilometre routes.
Everyone is welcome to walk, run or bike the routes. There will be water stations along the way, monitored by members of the Kinetic Knights Robotics Team (FRC Team 781).
The Kincardine Terry Fox Run has raised between $10,000 and $14,000 each year. All the proceeds go toward cancer research which has provided many new treatments, allowing cancer patients to live longer with a better quality of life.
Come to the event Sept. 20, and for a donation, you can join the walk in honour of Terry Fox.
