Della Quinn of Kincardine dies at the age of 91

Della Catherine Quinn of Kincardine died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at the Southampton Care Centre in her 92nd year.

Beloved mother of Len (Bonnie) Johnston of Meaford, Joan (Steve) Winter of Goderich, Ronald (Janice Thompson) Johnston of Texas, Sherry (Alex) West of Chesley Lake, and Bill (Mulan) Quinn of Ottawa.

Della will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Keith (Nathalie), Amy (Phil), Mike (Trish), Mark (Karen), Garrett (Victoria), and Evan (Amanda); and great-grandchildren, Emma, Tanner, Reed, Marlee and Quinn.

Remembered by her sister-in-law, Ruth Johnston; and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her first husband, Keith Johnston; her second husband, Earl Quinn; brother, Edward (Joy) Powell; sister, Mary (Ralph) Seddon; and her parents, Bob and Edith (nee Jenkins) Powell.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment, Wingham Cemetery, Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, at 2 p.m.
