It was sunny but chilly, as the Tiverton Fall Fair Parade marched through downtown Tiverton, much to the excitement of the crowd, Saturday morning.
The Tiverton Station fire truck led the parade, followed by the Teeswater Highlanders Pipe Band, the Tiverton Lions, the Tiny Tot ambassador, Ripley-Huron Fall Fair ambassador Joslynn Curran and junior ambassador Cassandra Bridge, Kincardine Fall Fair ambassador Reide Searle and junior ambassador Olivia Andrusiak, the amazing Craig-Convay float with the theme "Farmers: Past, Present and Future," and The King’s Pearl vehicle, as well as several businesses with trucks, cars and tractors.
While the day started cold and windy, the weather warmed up and welcomed everyone to enjoy a great slate of events throughout the afternoon.
Friday night, saw the official opening of the fair, the Tiny Tot ambassador draw, and the auction of the prize-winning cakes and pies.
