The Bruce County Public Library has announced planned improvements to the second floor of the Kincardine Library.
From Oct. 20 to Nov. 30, the second floor will be closed while the space undergoes a refresh. During this period, adult and young adult collections will be temporarily unavailable.
All services and collections located on the main floor of the library will remain available during the renovation period, and regular library operations will continue. The digital library is also always open at library.brucecounty.on.ca/digital-library, and patrons are always welcome at any of the other library branches.
The project includes several updates designed to enhance the library experience, including:
New shelving
New furnishings
Fresh paint
New flooring
The Bruce County Public Library is undertaking the project in partnership with the Municipality of Kincardine to create a more welcoming and functional space for library users.
Library staff appreciates the public's patience while these improvements are completed and looks forward to welcoming visitors back to the refreshed second floor later this fall.
