Condolences go out to the family and friends of Sherry Lang who lost her battle with cancer Jan. 20. She was a long-time employee of Tiverton Park Manor and her smiling face and laughter will be sadly missed by her co-workers and residents. Sherry was originally from the Parry Sound area. She loved to hunt, was always a joker, and loved her seniors at the Manor. She leaves behind her husband, Joe, and a blended family of five children. Private services have been held.
Condolences also go out to the family and friends of Jim Ferris of Tiverton who passed away Jan. 3.
The Tiverton Agricultural Society will be taking part in the Winterfest weekend coming up Feb. 7-8. On the 7th at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, the group will be hosting a Euchre Party from 1-4 p.m. Admission is $4, good cash prizes, with lunch to follow. On Sunday the 8th, from 2-6 p.m., there will be “Local Entertainment” at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre followed by a hot meal of ham & scalloped potatoes and homemade pies. Come out and enjoy the music, listen or get up and dance to the local entertainers. Everyone is welcome.

Canada Blooms - Thinking spring? Maxeytravel.com has a bus tour on March 18 going to Canada Blooms. Ridership already has four from this area. With four more, the company will pick-up in Kincardine.
