Development and donations in Kincardine
The past few weeks have seen some dramatic changes in weather. They have also seen some development and donations in the Kincardine area.

East of Highway 21, in the Kincardine Business Park, work is under way on the construction of a new car wash and pet wash, east of Canadian Tire.

Meanwhile, east of Sobeys, the new TownePlace Suites Marriott Hotel is nearing completion, with the opening slated for next month.

As for donations, the Society of Energy Professionals generously donated $1,500 to the Kincardine Skating Club. The cheque was presented to the skating club the night of the annual Skate Spectacular Gala, Feb. 26.

And Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has donated $500 to the Kincardine Fall Fair ambassador program.
