Glorious spring sunshine finally reaches Kincardine area

The glorious spring sunshine has finally reached the Kincardine area.

The warm weather and sunny skies arrived last week and residents enjoyed double-digit temperatures throughout the weekend, with many people out doing yard work, walking the boardwalk, or relaxing at the beach.

Monday, the sun was still shining, as Chantelle Primeau of Oshawa, and her family, daughter Harper, almost two, Andrew Johnson and "Finn," enjoyed the afternoon at the beach. Johnson is working in the area, and Primeau took the opportunity to visit family in Kincardine where she grew up.

While the sand was warm, the Lake Huron water is still ice cold!

The fabulous weather is expected to continue this week but cooler temperatures returns on the weekend.
