Work begins on municipal parking lot east of Queen Street

Finally, at long last, after years of waiting in anticipation, work has begun to fix the municipal parking lot, east of Queen Street, in Kincardine.

Bill and Tom Kempton Construction of Amberley has a section of the parking lot blocked off, behind Gordon Pharmasave and the banks, and has begun tearing up the old asphalt.



Construction officially began Monday and will continue until about June 30, with disruptions during this time.

Parking will be extremely limited, and entrances will be compromised at times.

Monday through Friday, one-third of the parking spaces in the lot will be available for patrons, and on weekends, half the spaces will be available.
