Body pulled from Lake Huron at MacGregor Park identified as missing Toronto man

A body pulled from Lake Huron on the shore of MacGregor Point Provincial Park in Saugeen Township, Monday afternoon, has been identified as a Toronto man, missing since mid-March.

The South Bruce OPP was called to the scene at 1:31 p.m. where officers removed the body from the water with assistance from members of the Saugeen Shores Fire Department.

Working with Saugeen Shores Police and a forensic pathologist, the South Bruce OPP has identified the deceased as 53-year-old Jim ARMSTRONG of Toronto. He was reported missing in the Town of Saugeen Shores, March 10.

Police say foul play is not suspected.
