TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG CHARGE
(WALKERTON, ON) – Jan. 25, at 11:48 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Durham Street West in Walkerton, stopped a beige Nissan S18.
The officer found a quantity of illegal drugs in the vehicle. The driver, an 18-year-old Walkerton man, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and breach probation. He was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing Jan. 26.
ATV OPERATOR LOSES LICENCE FOR THREE DAYS
(MILDMAY, ON) – Jan. 24, at 11:30 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Elora Street in Mildmay, stopped a black Yamaha Rhino ATV.
The operator, a 24-year-old Carrick Township man, was found to have been drinking alcohol. He was charged with fail to wear helmet and served a three-day licence suspension following a warn range result at the roadside.
POLICE INVESTIGATING VEHICLE DAMAGE
(KINCARDINE, ON) – Jan. 23, at 9:35 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of vehicle damage in the Lake Huron Learning Centre parking lot which is located along Queen Street in Kincardine.
Sometime between 5-9 p.m. Jan. 23, the back window on a Ford Escape was broken. There is no estimate available for the repairs to the vehicle.
