A beautiful summer’s evening helped set the stage for Ainsdale Golf Course’s first Men’s Steak Night, Thursday, May 26. Seventy-five golfers enjoyed the superb conditions of the course and the usual full steak buffet.
Mike Meraw dominated A Flight with a strong 27-point night. Other flight winners were Ken Catto in B, Lynn Finlayson in C and Steve Piper in D.
Longest-drive winners were Jason Nowakowski and Mike McKenzie. Closest-to-the-pin winners were Chris Brown, Ken Quinn, Dave Grant, Don Turcotte, And Phil Tompkins.
SUNDAY SCRAMBLE
Another sunny Sunday welcomed 48 men and 12 women to the opening scramble at Ainsdale Golf Course, May 29.
The first-place men's team of Jon Thompson, Ross Stewart, Keegan Newsham and John Middelkamp shot a sizzling 13-under.
