South Bruce OPP report bear captured in Kincardine and re-located; and vehicle stolen in Teeswater

BEAR RE-LOCATED
 

(KINCARDINE, ON) – June 1, at 6:38 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a bear-sighting on Adelaide Street in Kincardine. 

Officers kept observation of the bear as it moved into a bush area south of Kincardine Avenue. After receiving more reports of bear-sightings in Kincardine, the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources was contacted. At 10:42 a.m., the bear was captured by a conservation officer for re-location to a more suitable area.
 

POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN VEHICLE
 

(TEESWATER, ON) – May 31, at 3:18 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a vehicle stolen at the Daisy Mart parking lot located along Clinton Street South in Teeswater. 

Between 3-3:15 p.m. May 31, a silver Dodge Caravan with Licence No. BEHC120 was taken. There is no estimate on the value of the stolen vehicle at this time.
