About a dozen participants and five dogs joined in the Tiverton Lions Dog Guide Walk, Sunday, May 29, beginning at the Tiverton Lions Hall.
Among the dogs, were "Kleo," owned by Lynda Eskrick; "Maggie," being walked by Tiverton Lion Brent Crawford; "Taz," owned by Sue Maltais of Tiverton; "Diesel," owned by Lance Taylor of Tiverton; and "Boo," being walked by Tyler Gilliland and Michelle Scott of Tiverton.
It was a beautiful, sunny day - perfect for a walk around the village.
The group raised $3,058 in support of the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides which provides specially-trained dog guides to Canadians with physical and medical disabilities.
