The Reid family members gathered Sunday afternoon at the home of Don and Marilyn Reid to celebrate Father's Day.
Sandra Husk, mother of Brianna, and her grandmothers attended her graduation from MacMaster University, Hamilton, where Brianna received her diploma in civil and management engineering.
Congratulations to Cheryl Bridge, Brenda deLeuuw and Brianna Husk who recently received their certificate and pin for volunteering at the Ontario Volunteer Service Awards held in Owen Sound, June 10 - Cheryl for 25 years, Brenda for 30 years and Brianna for 15 years. It is truly amazing that we don't realize how much we contribute - we do what we need to do when required or do it just to help out and lend a hand. More than 11,000 volunteers have been honored so far. In one ceremony, that equals 3,170 years of service. That is impressive!
This is the second awards ceremony, the first one was held in March at Stratford, where other members of Purple Grove were in attendance.
