Reader also upset with the renaming of Kincardine medical clinic

To the Editor:
RE: "Taxpayers have grown accustomed to mediocre expectations, says reader"

Thank you Ms. McBride for so eloquently portraying my thoughts, with regard to the renaming of the Kincardine medical clinic to the Hawthorne Community Clinic.

No offence to Mr. Hawthorne, but another park or building would have been more appropriate.

I remember a number of years ago when Dr. Couch retired after 50 years of service, the town honoured him with a brand new car,

Now, I realize times have changed, but a hockey jersey for 50 years of dedication to the families of Kincardine and area?
