Students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, throughout the Kincardine and Ripley area, have a chance to win big through the colouring and writing contests held in conjunction with the second annual Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation's Radiothon, slated for Friday, Sept. 16, at Trillium Court Senior's Community, Kincardine.

Gift certificates, donated by Fincher's, will be awarded to the winners of the two contests.
The contest information and paperwork have been delivered to all schools and sent home with the students. The foundation will be picking up all entries Wednesday morning at the schools.

Meanwhile, Kincardine artist Sarah Chisholm donated one of her works, "Sailing Off Into The Sunset," a fine art photographic print on acrylic panel, featuring the Tall Ships, Playfair and Pathfinder, leaving Kincardine Harbour. The piece has a retail value of $295 and was raffled off in support of the Radiothon, raising more than $1,800. The winner of the artwork is Edie McMyler of Kitchener.
