Vehicle collides with stopped school bus in Mildmay

(MUNICIPALITY OF SOUTH BRUCE, ON)  -  Feb. 11, at 8:23 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a collision between a vehicle and a school bus on Absalom St. W., Mildmay, in the Municipality of South Bruce.
 

A Kunkel Lines school bus, carrying 23 students on board, was stopped facing eastbound on Abalsom St. W. with its lights and stop arm activated, when a Toyota Sienna van travelling eastbound on Abalsom St., collided with the back end of the bus.
 

The driver of the van was taken to hospital with minor injuries and released. The students on the bus were unharmed.
 

Stacy Lee BORTH, 41, of the Municipality of South Bruce, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
