On top of the world
The weather may have been freezing cold Sunday afternoon, but that didn't stop three young people from filming clips for a media production in the No Frills parking lot in Kincardine.
Jared Allingham, a Grade 12 student in Keith Colley's media class at Kincardine District Secondary School, was joined by his brother, David, and a friend, Kerri-Lyn Curran of Smith's Falls, to videotape footage atop the mountain of snow in the parking lot.
This involved Jared and David climbing the mountain, with David planting a flag there, and then the pair sliding down the hill to the bottom.
The 30 minutes of "exhilarating" footage will be compressed into a 10-second clip, said Jared.
