Donations to Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation

The season of giving continues with cheque presentations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.

Isabel and George Jones, representing the Bruce Chapter 253 Order of the Eastern Star, presented a cheque for $2,000 for refurbishment of a room in the hospital. To date, the organization has donated a total of $5,047.50 to the foundation, including this donation.

The $2,000 was raised from raffles, a money tree at Christmas time, soup and sandwich lunch, and other fund-raisers throughout the year.

Meanwhile, a huge thank you to the Lucknow and District Kinsmen Club for generously donating $10,000 to the foundation's Radiothon project, through proceeds from the club's annual Music in the Fields event. To date, the club has donated more than $49,000 to the annual Radiothon.
