LIONS NEWS

The Tiverton and District Lions thank the community for the generosity and support during their Christmas Hamper program. This year, you helped in making a better Christmas for 25 families in our community. This includes 38 adults and 48 dependants.

MANOR MUSINGS

Tiverton Park Manor hosted the Kindergarten class from Ecole Elgin Market Public School, Wednesday. The children sang Christmas songs in French, and then gave each resident some cookies and a hand-made ornament. Afterward, the students played cards and games with the residents. They were adorable. Who doesn’t love young children at Christmas time? Thank you to the children and the teachers for making the day so enjoyable for the residents and staff.

A birthday party was held for Irene Bradley as she celebrated her 104^th birthday. Kincardine mayor Anne Eadie dropped by and played some Christmas tunes for the residents before enjoying the delicious cake prepared by our cook, Caitlin.
Santa also stopped by to bring gifts to all the residents. Each year, he surprises them with good cheer and well wishes.
