Huron OPP investigating fatal crash south of Belgrave

(NORTH HURON, ON) -  Huron County OPP officers are on the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision on London Road (Highway 4), south of Belgrave.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 30, Huron OPP officers, Huron County Paramedic Services and firefighters from the North Huron Fire Department, responded to a two-vehicle crash on the highway, south of Morris Road.

The driver of one of the vehicles has died at the scene. 

Two occupants in the second vehicle suffered minor injuries and were transported from the scene to a local hospital.

Investigators from the West Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation team are assisting with the collision investigation.

London Road is closed between Morris Road to the north and Cranbrook Road to the south. Please take an alternate route to avoid delays.
