Highway 21 closed from Amberley to Goderich

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – The Huron County OPP has closed a section of Bluewater Veterans Highway (Highway 21) from Blyth Road (Huron County Road 25) to Amberley Road (Bruce County Road 86) - Amberley to Goderich - effective 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.
 

Blowing snow on this roadway is causing white-outs and unsafe driving conditions.
 

All other roadways in Huron County remain open.

Motorists are encouraged to check weather and road conditions by calling 5-1-1 or checking on-line at www.Ontario.ca/trip for up-to-date road conditions for provincially-maintained highways. This bilingual service is available 24 hours a day and provides updates on highway closures and road conditions.
 

Do Not call the OPP Provincial Communications Centre (PCC) for road and weather conditions. Police will not provide this information. Calling the PCC ties up phone lines and personnel used for emergency calls.
