Ripley Raven girls win Riverhawk Volleyball Classic

The Ripley Ravens girls volleyball team won all 12 games to win the Walkerton Riverhawks invitational volleyball tournament, Dec. 2.
In group play, Ripley defeated Walkerton, Mildmay, Sacred Heart and Chesley, each in two games straight. In the semi-final, the Ravens beat Meaford, 25-14 and 25-12, to advance to the final.

In the final, the powerful Raven serves and and excellent passing proved to be too much for Chesley as Ripley won, 25-15 and 25-13, to capture the championship banner.
Raven girls are: Jada, Larissa, Madison, Maddy, Emma, Tori, Magen, Ashley, Aysha and Sarah, with coaches: Mr. Quinn, Mr. Cassidy.
