Barb Grubb tops ladies day; Jakob Dunlop takes men's; and senior men's results at Ainsdale

Barb Grubb took “A” Flight, with 18 Stableford points, in the ladies league at Ainsdale Golf Course, Tuesday. In second place, was Maureen Peet with 15. Skins winners, were Barb Grubb and Maureen Peet.

“B” Flight – Anne Burton, 16; Cathy Chamber and Heather Struthers tied, 15. Skins winners, were Anne Burton, Cathy Chambers and Heather Struthers.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

In the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday, the team of David Blenkinsop, Ron Wright and Brian Wheate took top spot with a minus-four.

In second place, was the team of Phil Thompkins, Ron Lawless, John Pickett and Irv Kennedy, with a minus-four.

And in third, was the team of Bob Black John McLeod, Bill Pike and Harold Maurer, with a minus-three.

Closest-to-the-pin, were Gary Firth on No. 3; and Wayne Morrow on No. 8.

The team that had the most fun, included Wayne Morrow, Bob Bylsma Paul Pickett and Peter Newson.
