Neilipovitz, Peet win at ladies' day; Willits tops men's league; and senior men's results at Ainsdale

Karen Neilipovitz and Maureen Peet tied for top spot in “A” Flight, with 16 Stableford points, in the ladies league at Ainsdale Golf Course, Tuesday. In third place, was Colette LePage with 14. Skins winners, were Debby Antler, Karen Neilipovitz and Maureen Peet.

“B” Flight – Cathy Chambers and Nancy Stewart tied, 15; Deb Pegg and Heather Struthers tied, 14. Skins winners, were Kathy Mackay, Deb Pegg and Nancy Stewart.

“C” Flight – Michele Lanthier, 18; Diane Sutter, 16; Chris McBride, 15. Skin winners, were Alexis Gallant, Michele Lanthier, Jean Rhude and Diane Small.

“D” Flight – Gail MacIntosh, 13; Erin Kelly, 12; Nancy Turcotte and Norma-Jean Rhody, 11. Skins winner, was Gail MacIntosh.

Phil Willits won “A” Flight at Men's Night, with a score of 35.2, Thursday, at Ainsdale Golf Course.

In second, was Blair Chaput with 36.8, followed by Gordon Yoon, 37.3; Charles Candler, 37.4; Travis McLaughlin, 38.1; John Dupuis, 39.4; Mike Meraw, 40; and Jarrett Johns, 40.1. Skins winner, was Gordon Yoon.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

In the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday, the team of Arno Weissenboeck, Boyd Carruthers, Lorne Seal and Ben Blais took the top spot with a minus-four.

In second place, was the team of David Blenkinsop, Brian Rhody, Clarke Pollock and Peter Newson, with a minus-three.

And in third, was the team of Dave Hodgson, Jim Steeds, Ken Bresee and Harry Ferrier, with a minus-three.

Closest-to-the-pin, were Mike DePapp on No. 12; and John McLeod on No. 17.

The team that had the most fun, included Gary Firth, Ron Lawless, Hugh Jones and Jim Levangie.
