IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT
(HURON TWP, ON) – Dec. 21, at 3:13 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Concession 8, stopped a grey GMC Sierra pick-up truck.
The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol and he was arrested after a brief struggle. Twenty-three-year-old Terry FOX of Huron Township has been charged with impaired driving, operate over 80 milligrams and resist peace officer. He is scheduled to appear in court, Jan. 26, 2015, to answer to the charges.
POLICE INVESTIGATING COPPER THEFT
(CARRICK TWP, ON) – Dec. 21, at 1:12 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft from a residence in the 100 block of Concession 4 in Carrick Township.
Sometime between Noon Dec. 20, and 1 p.m. Dec. 21, a quantity of copper pipe and copper wire was taken from a barn on the property. There is no estimated value for the stolen property at this time.
IMPAIRED DRIVER CAUGHT AT RIDE CHECK
(KINCARDINE, ON) – Dec. 21, at 10:59 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting a RIDE check on Durham Street in Kincardine, when a black Dodge Ram was stopped.
Officers found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver, 32-year-old Rory McDOUGALL of Kincardine, has been charged with operate over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court, Jan. 26, 2015, to answer to the charge.
