Bulldogs out of the playoffs after losing series against Wingham
The Kincardine Fairmount Security Junior “C” Bulldogs made a brief come-back, Friday night, with a win against the Wingham Ironmen, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, but lost Game 5, Saturday night in Wingham, ending their playoff run.

Friday night in Kincardine, the 'Dogs downed the Ironmen, 5-1.

Ethan Long opened the scoring for Kincardine early in the first, on a powerplay effort, from Hunter Robins-Gibbons and Brent West.

Midway in the period, Keegan Angel made it 2-0, assisted by Cameron Hoskins; and five minutes later, it was a 3-0 game, as Logan Swanton worked the powerplay, scoring from Jordan Caskenette and Logan Freiburger.

Wingham scored its lone goal in the second period.

And Kincardine added two more in the third, to take the 5-1 win, and stave off elimination in the semi-final series. Scorers were Angel from Mike Fiegehen and Swanton; and Fiegehen from Angel and Freiburger.

However, Saturday night in Wingham, the Ironmen won the game, 6-3, taking the series and eliminating the Bulldogs from the playoffs in the Pollock Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

Goal-scorers for Kincardine, were Freiburger from Fiegehen and Swanton; Blake Buchanan, unassisted; and Buchanan from Grant Stevens and Angel.
