As we look back on the past year, we count our blessings that we live in a free country and that we don't live in a state of fear as so many do in the rest of the world. The Ripley Agricultural. Society had its Christmas meeting at the Purple Grove Community Centre last week. Directors enjoyed socializing, and a wonderful meal prepared by Michelle Liddle. Thank you to all sponsors, exhibitors and supporters for another great fair.

Mary Anne Kukoly visited with Delbert Hedley, Merle Rhody and Isabel Brook at Pinecrest. Mary Anne also visited with Shirlely Gilders of Clinton and Kay Small in Kincardine.
Mary Anne Kukoly and Shirley MacDonald had a great visit with Ruth McCosh in Goderich when the power was out for two hours, Dec. 17. That outage sure put a crimp in some shoppers' plans.
