Kincardine Sobeys Peewee girls earn a win and two ties

'Twas the games before Christmas
Two games were to be had
Clearview Icecats travelled to Tiverton
To play on their pad.

With only nine skaters,
The girls worked the puck
And pulled off a 4-0 win
For the Kincardine Kinucks.

The next game was closer,
The ref made a call
Now down to eight skaters
The Kinucks could not fall.

The Kinucks skated hard
Without a word of a lie
Managed to keep the score
A 2-2 tie.

Off to Guelph
On Sunday we went
Hoping the girls working hard
Were not spent.

The Gryphons came out
With their game faces on
Sticks neatly taped
And smiles all gone.

The game was a tough one
With two new faces
To help out our girls
They did up their laces.

The puck saw the ice
Sliding coast to coast
Coming close to the twine
It rang off the posts.

But in the end
When all was said and done
The score was 0-0
A good effort by everyone!
