MyChart now available at South Bruce Grey Health Centre
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre is now offering patients easy access to their personal health information through an on-line tool called MyChart.
More than 40 hospitals in Ontario now participate in the MyChart program, developed by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
A press release, issued Wednesday by the health centre, states that the program allows patients to view test results from visits to all participating hospitals. Patients can see results from blood work, medical imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, etc.), lab results, medications, allergies, microbiology results, discharge summaries from overnight stays, pathology and genetics reports.
In addition to viewing information from visits at participating health-care facilities, patients can enter their own health information (allergies, weight, height, etc.), and share records with family members and other health-care professionals.
Patients can now sign-up for MyChart by visiting Patient Registration at any of of the health centre's four hospital sites: Kincardine, Walkerton, Chesley and Durham. Patients must provide their health card, photo ID and a valid E-mail address.
Once the information is received by Sunnybrook, patients will receive a PIN number via E-mail and they will have 10 days to complete their registration at
www.mychart.ca/.
More information related to MyChart, including Frequently Asked Questions and sign-up locations across the health centre sites, is available at:
www.sbghc.on.ca/.
MyChart is also available at Grey Bruce Health Services’ six hospital sites as of December, 2019.
