Ripley-Huron Community School students, staff, guests enjoy turkey dinner together

A crowd of students and staff from Ripley-Huron Community School, and guests, enjoyed a turkey dinner at the Ripley Complex, Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Teacher Barb Grubb's Grade 8 class and parents hosted the event which offered delicious food and a great sense of community in sharing a meal together.
Appreciation goes to P&H Amberley and Peter Schlegel for donating all the turkey. Generous donations were also received from Sobeys, Farmers Diner, Ripley Variety, Boston Pizza, McAdams, Gaylea and Bruce County Milk.
Also appreciation goes to Janice Lamont, Carrie Charrette, Heather Newman, Sarah Lotton and Sherry Henkenhaf for being central in organizing the volunteers.
The Grade 8 students send their sincerest gratitude to everyone who helped organize the turkey dinner, with all the funds raised going to support their graduation trip.
