Celebrity servers raise $2,300 for Kincardine Relay for Life

Local celebrities put on their best customer service smile and helped raise $2,300 for the Kincardine Relay for Life Friday night at Boston Pizza.

More than a dozen people joined Doug Kennedy as celebrity servers for the event, setting tables, serving beverages and clearing tables, as well as rubbing shoulders with customers.

Ten per cent of the sales from 5-8 p.m. Friday, went to Relay for Life, as well as proceeds from the silent auction held that night.

The Kincardine Relay for Life runs Saturday, June 20, from Noon to Midnight at the Davidson Centre track.
