Readers object to Huron-Bruce MPP's stance on teachers' job action
To the Editor:
RE: “Huron-Bruce MPP says students should be in class”
I think there is a mistake in this article, not in you printing it.
Ontario premier Doug Ford and his gang created this mess. After he swore no jobs would be lost.
He is taking us back in time, after people fought for the great education system we have. And thank God every day, for the teachers and helpers and anyone else who is fighting out there in the trenches for our children to have back what they deserve - the best education system that we had. Thanks to all of you for supporting our children!
You can point fingers at whoever you like till the cows come home, Mr. Ford, and anyone who supports him. But as usual, this is all about power, greed, control and money. And nothing to do with anything as noble as giving a hoot about our education system or our children.

This MPP is out to lunch.
These teachers are being inundated with unbearable class sizes and unsafe school practices.
Research tells us that E-learning in schools does not enhance education.
Teachers will continue to hold strikes as this MPP has no clue about education in Ontario.

Fact: A proposed letter of intent for the Kindergarten model is not the same as a statutory part of the collective agreement. You are trying to pull the wool over our eyes. SHAME!
You have no respect for public education. How does cutting 10,000 teachers improve the quality of education?
How about eliminating tax cuts to Ontario premier Doug Ford's big corporate buddies? The beer store contract came to the tune of $1-billion. The deficit is now bigger because of you.
You choose to make cuts to education?
How do you sleep at night? Shame!
Teachers are the union.
