Readers welcome COVID-19 information, offer thanks, and warn be mindful of children
To the Editor:

Thank you for doing such a wonderful job keeping us updated about COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

It's the first thing I do every morning with a coffee.

Keep it up, Liz!

Thank You

To the Editor:

Just wanted to show my appreciation for the excellent job you are doing providing accurate information on what is happening in Kincardine and area, in such a timely manner.

I am appreciating everything from the health unit updates, the new yellow recycling bins, the lighter article, to Huron-Kinloss resuming recycling pick-up.

Keep up the great work, and stay healthy.

RE: “Huron-Kinloss mayor takes strong measures to halt influx of cottagers, due to COVID-19”

Thank you for informing all and helping to spread the word about this situation.

We know our friends have to stay home, so denying them water is such a good way to get the point across. Reading this in our (on-line) paper goes much farther than word from the township.

These are tough times and your paper is helping to inform.

Thanks again,
Lucille Fischer

To the Editor:

Huron-Kinloss mayor Mitch Twolan should have done this before 150 cottages had water turned on last week.

RE: “Purple Grove news, March 30”

Through the editor, to the women of the Purple Grove Women's Institute:

'Tis I who should be doing the thanking. What a wonderful group of women, you are!

Your attention to the presentation and your questions, showed a real enthusiasm for this amazing history.

Also, your warm welcome to both my sister-in-law and me, was very much appreciated.

May the Lord bless and keep you all safe through this time of trial.

To the Editor:

Parents, keep your children OFF the streets, the sidewalks, the boardwalk AND the beach.

Thursday was a sunny day - Woo hoo!

Entertain your children AT home! Geez, buy a stationary block for them to bike in your garage. Set up one of your many screens to let them watch/play while biking in ONE position!

PLEASE be serious about this! If you do not do this, it will not be me, it will be law enforcement. Be a good parent – please!
