Kincardine area volunteers recognized with Ontario service awards

Several long-time volunteers in the Kincardine area were honoured with Ontario Volunteer Service Awards at a ceremony in Owen Sound, Monday, June 8.

Community Living is grateful for all of its dedicated volunteers who work so hard to inspire new possibilities and enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities every single day. 
 



Also at this ceremony, a number of Kincardine Lions Club members and other Kincardine residents were recognized for their years of continuous service to their organizations.

Receiving awards but unable to attend, were Lion Sean Anderson, 25 years; Lion Bob Bull, 20 years; Lion Jenn Prenger, five years.

From other organizations: Syed Afzaal, 10 years, Professional Engineers Ontario – Georgian Bay Chapter; Ruth Dorey, five years, Victorian Order of Nurses, Grey Bruce; Jennifer Farrell, 10 years, Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario/Kincardine; Dominique Jackson, 10 years, Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey; Barbara Irwin, 10 years, Jackson Women's Institute; Peps Lorentzen, five years, Women’s House; Joe Macartney, five years, Parkinson Society; Merri Macartney, five years, Parkinson Society; Kim Ozorio, five years, Keystone Child, Youth and Family Services; and Mildred Zarubick, five years, Victorian Order of Nurses.
