It was a great "Pay-it-Forward" story, Saturday morning at the Canadian Tire gas bar in Kincardine.
A gentleman from Guelph arrived in a U-Haul van and began purchasing gas and gift cards for customers.
"People were so surprised," said Jacquie Storey, cashier at the convenience store and gas bar. "It was priceless, the looks on their faces when they found out their gas was paid for, or when they received a free gift card. I guess the guy just wanted to be nice. He's here for a holiday and is spending a week camping."
The man did not want to speak to the media but preferred to remain anonymous.
Several people said they appreciated his generosity and it made a real difference to them.
