Mask-wearing is a ridiculous mandate, says reader

To the Editor:
RE: “Mandatory face-mask order to coincide with provincial Stage 3 re-opening”

There is no need to mandate mask-wearing in a community that has very few cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

If you read the label on the box of general masks, it specifically says that it is not effective for COVID-19. And the government says you can wear a scarf if you want.

This is a ridiculous mandate, and I am definitely against it!
