Praise for Nini on her virtual Walk to End ALS

RE: “Kincardine woman raises $4,000 in Walk to End ALS”

Pam Janecek (Nini) is an amazing individual whom I met at the Waterloo Region ALS support meeting months ago. I was drawn to her sparkling, smiling face, her warm personality and wonderful sense of humour.

She and I have become friends through E-mail messages. We support each other as we deal with this horrible disease, through humour and encouragement. We are each a sounding board when things are not going well.

The ALS Society is a phenomenal support for individuals and their families dealing with ALS. The Society provides support groups, home visits by regional mangers, connection to community services, loaner equipment, ongoing education, and great support of research for a future without ALS.

Donations continue to be taken for the Virtual Walk To End ALS, until Dec. 31, 2020.
