Kincardine Lions Splash Pad opens beside Davidson Centre
Despite a cloudy sky and cool temperature, the Kincardine Lions threw open the gates at the splash pad, beside the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, for the youngsters to enjoy.
The project is mostly complete, with some fencing and landscaping yet to be finished.
Two-year-old Max Malhotra of Kincardine was the first youngster to activate the splash pad. He donated all of his second birthday party money to the project.
Joining him were other children who had made donations, including Olivia, Sierra and Cole Griffin who made bracelets and sold them, putting all the money toward the splash pad.
Warmer weather is on the way which will make the facility more inviting.
